This is news of relief to the students came after High Court ordered to start the EAMCET 2013 Counselling of Engineering for admission into BE/BTech/BPharm. courses for academic year 2013-14.
Order by Andhra Pradesh High Court for EAMCET 2013 Counselling is a relief to 2 lacs+ engineering aspirants as the EAMCET 2013 Counselling is delayed by around 2 months due to fee fixation issues and pending cases in HC.
The High Court has directed the State Government to start the counselling process of EAMCET 2013 by August 19 2013 and notify the same in Telugu, English and Urdu in 3 news papers.
Justice Nooty Ramamohana Rao passed these interim orders on a writ plea which was filed by T. Leela Krishna-a student. The petitioner’s counselor bought it to the notice of Court that the counselling process for engineering has not yet started.
The EAMCET 2013 exam was conducted on 10 May 2013 and the result for the same was declared on 5 June 2013.

The High Court also said to start the academic session of Engineering by 1 September 2013. Managements of private engineering colleges had also approached the High Court for the same and obtained interim relief which preventer the state from regulating the fee to be charged and the admission process.
For admission to the management quota seats, the Court also said that the management of college should issue notifications for the same in 2 leading newspapers inviting application by both means i.e. online and physical.
The notification of EAMCET 2013 Counselling is expected to be released on 13 August 2013 by APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education).
